Almojabana & Guava Pudding đ„ Almojabana a.k.a Pan de Bono a.k.a Bun of joy đ Mi parcero @themetalcheftmc shared this recipe with me, his abuelaâs recipe, and now I am sharing it with you. Let me tell you my friends, we are some lucky mofos cuz this thing is pure ecstasy! #thankyoujesus and thank you #themetalcheftmc for being so badass đ€â
â
INGREDIENTSâ
â
6 almojabanas (pan de bonos)â
â
1 1/2 cups of milkâ
â
1/3 cup condensed milkâ
â
1 cup guava paste, cubed.â
â
1 tsp vanilla extractâ
â
Vanilla ice cream for serving (optional, but think about it)â
â
PREPARATIONâ
â
In a bowl mix milk, condensed milk and vanilla extract. Cube the almojabanas, add them to the mix, cover with plastic wrap and leave in fridge overnight. â
â
Preheat oven at 400F. Butter a baking dish and pour in half of the mix and add half of the cubed guava, dispersed throughout. Add the rest of the mix and guava. â
â
Set the oven at 300F and immediately put the baking dish in oven. Bake for 30 minutes. You can check if done by using a butter knife, if you poke the pudding and knife comes out clean, it’s done! Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of condensed milk, cuz we #extra like that!â â€ïž
